Starting again can be hard.Especially after a long break. One way I get going again to to paint small 6inch x 6inch or 8 inch square pictures. These are no to show anyone, they are simply to get back into the swing of painting. Small, no expectations, easy to paint over if I want to. I use these small paintings the same way Julia Cameron in “The Artist’s Way” uses morning pages – to get moving.
